Brunette Butterfly

This self-portrait was an in the moment whim. I had finished taking all the pictures I needed when all of a sudden I had the idea to put the butterflies that I had used for a previous picture in my hair. I didn't think anything would come of it if anything it would be an emergency backup but I actually ended up really liking it. This is the only picture that I took myself. I sat against the coat closet door and pointed the light towards me and just basically took a selfie. At first I didn't want to use it because I thought it was too similar to my 'Mariposas' self-portrait but I felt it was better than any of the other ones I had to take its place so I added it anyways.
