Final

Throughout the course of the school year I’ve learned a lot about taking pictures. I learned how to take pictures with good angles as well as the many different types of angles that there are, I learned how to create an entire website, I’ve learned how to properly edit a picture and make it look professional, and I’ve learned how to use Adobe Photoshop as well as other Adobe products that I didn’t even know existed which was a great challenge to overcome. Looking back on the projects we did I can see my growth within every assignment. I can see how my work improved through the seasons. I went from taking mediocre pictures in my 10 photos and slightly better ones in my Apple Harvest assignment to taking nearly professional level photos in my Spring assignment. The tools I was able to access and utilize throughout were an extreme help as well.

Going down my blog I can see how much has changed. I started by writing two to three sentence descriptions and attaching basic in the moment pictures to now where I write paragraph long descriptions and attach thought out pictures. Looking down my blog I can see a reflection of the person I was at the beginning of my junior year which will be great to look back on in the future. My blog is also a reflection of my growth and the many things I learned in this class.

I Learned to make infographic's which I had always seen but never really knew what they were, I learned how to make GIFs, and I learned how to overcome an insecurity of taking solo pictures of myself and posting it online for everyone to see. I overcame this when I did my self-portraits. Although it was the assignment I was most afraid and self-conscious to do it turned out to be one of my top favorites. Overall I really enjoyed this class, the people in it, and the amazing things I learned. I’m glad I chose to take it and would make the same decision again if it came down to it. I hope others choose to take this class and experience all the great things it has to offer.
