Mariposas

I really liked how this self-portrait came out. It definitely shows a lighter side compared to my 'Sinister' self-portrait. I loved the colors in the butterflies and the shadow that cast on my face. I feel the shadow helped bring a hint of dark to all the brightness and can represent the two different sides of me in this picture. I won't lie I think the best part of this picture is that you can see the shades of brown in my eyes since my eyes are so dark it's not something that is typically visible and also the eyeliner didn't hurt. Props to my sister Gloria for helping me take this picture. This was a fun one to take because my sister and I could not stop laughing it took us forever to get the right one.
